UTU Locals 1778 and 1923 (BC Rail)

We are trainmen, yardmen and conductors working for Canada's third largest railway, BC Rail. Our membership is no longer exclusively male (Welcome Sisters!)

Local 1778 represents train crews from North Vancouver to 100 Mile House. Local 1923 represents our brothers and sisters from Williams Lake north to Ft. Nelson.

What can you find here?

We publish a quarterly newsletter, Meeting Point, for the entertainment and information of train crews here at BC Rail.

You will also find our collective agreement, links, logos and other resources our members might find useful.

We also hope this page will act as an electronic point of contact with members of the North America wide UTU and other labor organizations.
